“Recovering the Sacred Feminine is the central issue of our times.” – Ilarion Merculieff
Indigenous prophecies, particularly from the Hopi and Maori say that women will be restored to their place as original healers during this time, and that women will lead the way into a higher consciousness. The role of men is to protect the sacred space of women so they can do their work. As a man, Merculieff feels he can help these unfoldings by speaking publicly about these matters, and his background and orientation require that he work collaboratively, only speak where he is invited and can work in creative partnership with the feminine.
Ilarion first presented on the Sacred Feminine, at a gathering hosted by the International Council of the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers in Anchorage, Alaska in the summer of 2011, at the request of some of the grandmothers. With their encouragement, he continues to share these messages with the world.
“Larry Merculieff offered his heartfelt and powerful view about the balance between feminine and masculine, touching both audience, and Grandmothers very deeply.” – Of Horses and Humanity Blog

Summary: This presentation focuses on remembering the “Original Instructions” and “Natural Laws ” given to humanity before the beginning of time to ensure harmony and balance. Particular emphasis is given to the role of women. This is an excerpt from a three hour teaching circle that involved members of the circle asking questions. 2012.
“In all traditions we have many deaths of the ego, but there is a spiritual death no one talks about – for man to be reborn he has to go back through the Womb. We need to complete the circle, and go back through the Sacred Feminine, both literally and spiritually, to be reborn.” – Ilarion (Larry) Merculieff
“Thank you so much for this video – watching it made me weep. With ache and longing and gratitude for hearing wise words from an elder and brother. Indeed, this is what we mean by the Sacred Feminine. Such synchronicity – last night (women’s circle in Brussels) we talked about the womb as the sacred space, and there was quite some churning in that area for at least one of us…” Nina
“After having found this video I sent it out to many people and received a lot of feedback and thanks. People -especially women- were very moved. As I was only the messenger, I decided to hand on the feedback to Larry himself. I appreciate his response: “Thank you for sending these to me. I am grateful. What I share belongs to the world, not to me so I am thankful that these messages are being shared.” Comment by Griet Hellinckx

“Recently came across the wonderful talk you gave at the Kaliopeia Foundation earlier this year (2012). It is amazing how, through the medium of the internet that such inspiring words and real sense of the sacred can be shared all around the world and carry such a potent energy. I have been sending the link to as many people as possible. What you say is so profound and helpful.” Jackie Crovetto, UK

Based on interviews with the world’s most visionary spiritual teachers and women’s dreams and experiences, Body of Wisdom ushers in a new spirituality in which the body and the shared body of the earth are known as a seat of mystical power and women take responsibility for spiritual work that only they can do.
